Open Food Network Canada is proud to work with three diverse groups to enable food sovereignty across the country. Whether you are a producer, hub, or group looking to sell, an eater looking to shop to support local production, or a developer or volunteer looking to support our mission, you are able to get involved with OFN Canada.
Producers, Hubs, Groups
Food producers can create an online shop, collect payments, and sell through other shops on the Open Food Network platform.
Wholesalers can integrate with existing systems, manage buying groups & supply produce through networks of food hubs & shops.
Communities can bring together producers to create a virtual farmers’ market, building a resilient local food economy.
Eaters
Open Food Network enables you to buy food from farmers or food hubs in your area.
Find shops in your area, and purchase directly from them.
Developers & Volunteers
Open Food Network is an open source project that is built by a community of passionate people all around the world.
You can join us to help building the platform as a software developer, tester, or product manager.
But we also build so much more, and need skilled people across many other areas.
